A modern home
for racquet sport

Ambsace Racquet Club is a new kind of sporting club — rooted in the traditions of racquet games but designed for the way we play today. Where the old guard built walls, we open doors.

Named for the lowest roll in dice — the double ace, or ambsace — the club embraces the spirit of fair play, good fortune, and the joy of showing up regardless of the score.

We bring together four great racquet disciplines under one roof: tennis, squash, padel, and real tennis. Whether you've played for decades or picked up a racquet last week, this is your court.

Ambsace Racquet Club heraldic crest
Our Arms The club crest bears a peregrine falcon above a quartered shield — eagles displayed, tennis balls, and crossed racquets in green and gold. The motto Spectemur agendo: let us be judged by our actions.
I
Play First
Competition is welcome. Enjoyment is mandatory. The best matches are the ones you want to play again.
II
Open Court
No old boys' network. No waiting list theatre. A community built on enthusiasm, not entitlement.
III
Quiet Standards
Beautiful spaces, proper equipment, considered design. The details matter — we just don't make a fuss about them.
IV
After the Match
The bar is as important as the court. Sport is the pretext; the friendships are the point.

One club, every court

From the ancient courts of real tennis to the fastest-growing sport in the world, Ambsace spans the full arc of racquet sport.

I

Tennis

The timeless game. Grass, clay, and hard court sessions for all levels. Social doubles every Sunday.

II

Squash

The purest test of racquet skill. Glass-backed courts, regular box leagues, and coaching from county-level players.

III

Padel

The social sport of the moment. Easy to learn, impossible to master. Drop-in sessions welcome.

IV

Real Tennis

The sport of kings, dating to the 16th century. Played on one of Britain's few surviving courts.

The court is yours

Ambsace is building something new — a racquet club for people who love the game, not the gatekeeping. We're opening our founding membership to those who want to shape what comes next.

You're on the list

We'll be in touch as things take shape. In the meantime, keep your racquet hand warm.
